Reading...JOE style!

Last Thursday, J put together JOE's table and chair set. We used her birthday gift cards to get it for her and she absolutely LOVES the set. She is always going to her room to sit on the chair and moves it to use for climbing. She even started reading one of her books out-loud after it was first set up. I only managed to capture the tail end of it.

Last Friday, I decided to work on our family's notice board. For now, it'll be used for pictures we receive during the course of the year. These are just some of the picture cards we got for Christmas. I used mod podge to attach the fabric to the frame. If the material looks familiar, its because its leftover from the skirt I made JOE a while back.

What do you do with the picture cards you receive during the course of the year? Do you keep them, read and toss them or display them somewhere in your home?

  1. What a good idea! I feel so guilty about wanting to toss them because I have no good space for them, so I keep them piled on a coffee table for a couple weeks until the guilty feelings wear out. By then the - "I need to get this place cleaned up!!" - feeling takes over. Lol :D

    1. Yeah...I am with you. I often feel guilty about tossing them so I keep them and re-read them. If its a picture one, I hold on to it a little longer. Now I actually have a place to put them :-).

    1. They sure are and they do grow up fast. I can't believe I already have conversations with her about things. I don't understand her responses but still :-).

  3. I like JOE's table set, she can start her own little book club :). I keep the cards I receive on my fridge, nothing as neat as your notice board
