Our little J.O.E turned 1-month yesterday. It is so hard to believe that it's been a month since I had her.
Being a mom has been a challenge but also a very rewarding challenge. When she smiles, I feel like all is right in the world. She is growing each day and noticing more about her surroundings. This week, she started interacting. She likes to "play" with the vibrating sassy bug on her carseat handle. I use the word play loosely because all she does is swipe at it. :-).
She loves taking baths! Most babies I know don't but my little J.O.E would sit there for s long as I will let her (3minutes max!).
She hates tummy time but it can't be avoided. I hate it too because I hate seeing my baby so frustrated. But despite that, my baby is up to the challenge. She lifts and moves her head from side to side.
Of course, like most parents, I think she is a child prodigy :-). I know I am biased though.
We started the process of looking for child care for Jordan for when I go back to work and already, I am dreading the day I'll have to leave her with someone else to care for her.
Now, I know what it means to love instantly and unconditionally. I pray God gives me the power and grace to care for and teach this precious gift he has given me.
Have a nice weekend all!
