I am also thankful for the success of JOE's jungle themed birthday party (pictures coming soon). But below is a picture of JOE with both sets of her grandparents.

Foolery: Things that make me go hmmm...
TGIF! I am so ready for the weekend!!! I took the day off since I have family in town.
I didn't do too much reading this week cause I was very busy but here are some of the foolery stuff I saw during the course of the week. Enjoy!
OK...There is NOTHING left to the imagination in this dress. Some might call it fashion but as Joan Rivers would say, "I say fash-whore". I am not calling her a whore. Just saying I am NOT a fan of this dress. What happens when she sits down? Doesn't look like she is wearing pasties either.
I am beyond speechless at this. I mean, I can't blame her for enhancing her looks to find a husband. People do it all the time. We wear makeup, dress up differently to attract a mate. BUT, I think the key thing is that they should have BOTH been honest with each other. I am curious though as to why he didn't see any of her childhood pictures while dating or before kids. Also, where the heck did she get $100,000 from to do plastic surgery?
Oh and for the man, come on! The kid could very well have taken after one of HIS relatives! And no kid is ugly! We are all uniquely made. Why the heck will he call his kid ugly? That means the child got 50% of the ugliness from him!
Just goes to show, you can change what's on the outside but not on the inside. Beauty is not skin deep and DNA does not lie!
Yes, I know women aren't the same size they were a few years ago but come on! Ever heard the saying "the customer is always right?" If I am paying big bucks for yoga pants, I expect that other's won't be seeing my butt through it!
Was riding on the train last week and saw this guy. I thought it was a Halloween wig but it was not! I actually did a visual inspection and purposely sat behind him. Now, that's what I call a "fro puff!" Hubby said it is "frotastic!"

Happy Friday everyone. Have a FABULOUS weekend! I am looking forward to celebrating JOE's birthday tomorrow!
30-Days of being thankful: Day 8
Today, I am thankful for my parents, sisters and younger brother. They all have very busy lives and decided to spend the money and take the time off to come celebrate JOE's birthday this weekend.
I love my family!
NOTE: pictures are from JOE's party. I forgot to take pictures of them on Thursday and Friday.

30-Days of being thankful: Day 7 (Pic heavy!)
Today, I am thankful for my bundle of joy, my princess, my love, my mini-me and THE BEST parts of J & I. Today, my baby turns ONE!
She is by far the sweetest baby I know. Always has a smile readily available. She loves to play, eat, chase us around the family room and watch herself on Facetime.
She is our pride and joy and having her is truly a blessing. She is our constant reminder of God's blessings on our lives.
Happy Birthday JOE!
Here are pictures from her smash cake session! Those beads are from a Mardi Gras trip I took a few years back. I guess they came in handy :-)

30-Days of being thankful. Days 1 - 6
I have gotten on the band wagon and have decided to do the 30-days of thanks challenge this year.
Since it is already November 6th, I'll play catch up.
Day 1:
I am thankful to God that my sister is engaged to be married to a man who truly cares about her and who makes her happy! Yes, we ARE the United Nations family! :-). Aren't they just the cutest? This was the other secret I wasn't allowed to share until all family members had been notified.
Day 2:
I am thankful, for my beautiful and healthy daughter who in approximately 24-hours will become a toddler! That year FLEW BY!
Day 3:
I am thankful for the adventures of the past. Going through all my pictures from my travels, it makes me very thankful for the good times and also appreciate all of the fun future adventures I'll be having with my family as we create out own memories.
Day 4:
I am thankful for my awesome husband. He rocks! Clearly, JOE agrees from the way she is looking at her daddy.
Day 5:
I am thankful for JOE's nanny. She really is THE BEST! We couldn't have asked for a better person to trust with the care of our daughter. She has truly become a member of the family and we are very thankful for her!
Day 6:
I am thankful for God given talent. I love that I can envision things and somehow, I am able to bring it to life. I also enjoy doing these things which makes it so much more fun and relaxing!
What are you thankful for? Join me on this challenge. 30-days of being thankful! You'd be amazed at just how many things you have to be thankful for.
