Photo Dump Wednesday: Birthday shenanigans

My birthday was last week Friday and I had an absolutely fabulous time.
The morning started out with selfies with my darling older daughter. This girl is just too cute for words and so mature!

Then after making food for JAE, I went downstairs and was greeted with the gifts from my girls. Their caregiver helped them put it together and it was just so precious.

Then I was treated to a yummy breakfast by my yummy hubby. He doesn't cook much so this was definitely a very thoughtful gift of love.

Yummy breakfast to start my new year.

Since it was the Friday before a holiday, we got 2 hours early dismissal from work. I was teleworking and J took the day off so we took a late lunch. But before heading out, I had to take a picture of my birthday self 😆.

We had Indian food for lunch and it was oh so yummy.

I got some mango lassi and finished it before I even got a chance to take a picture of it.

After we got home, I got a selfie with my younger daughter.

Then it was time to open more presents. These were the cards from the girls and hubby.

A gift card towards my big girl camera. Yes, I'm still working on that one. Hoping to score a deal during black Friday sales this year.

My other gift from hubby. I so needed this bag especially since we're about to go on vacation. Why carry a diaper bag on the beach when I can look chic with a carry all bag? I mean, check out how chic my model looks showing off the merchandise 😀.

The day ended with one more selfie with JOE.

And then cake. This cake was so delicious! It is by far one of the best I've had to date. Hubby got all my favorite flavors in one cake. Of course it had to be good. Yummy goodness!

J went above and beyond and made it a very memorable birthday. One that I won't be forgetting anytime soon. He put a lot of thought into it and it showed. I truly felt very special on my special day.

Hope you're having a great week so far.

Have a fabulously blessed day!
