Swimming and a DIY project

I often spend all week looking forward to the weekend and it feels like the weekends are gone in the blink of an eye!
Last weekend was another busy one. JOE had her first swimming lesson on Saturday and she did great! She was actually the only kid that didn't cry while in the pool or even when we did a dip! She did have a surprise look on her face after dunking her in the water. Considering this was her first class and she missed the first session the weekend before last, I was quite proud of my baby.

In other news, I completed our family wall of pictures. I love how it all turned out. I am thinking of getting different frames for the smallest ones (5x7) because I am not really feeling those frames. Other than that, we plan on swapping out the pics over time as our family grows.

Here is my little happy girl after she pulled herself up andmade her first attempt to stand on her own. Next stop...walking...can't believe how quickly time is FLYING!

    1. Thank you! She is getting bigger. She really now thinks she can walk :-). She lets go of things she is holding on to and attempts to take steps on her own.

  3. YAY for finally making it to swimming lessons. So glad she enjoyed it and had fun. By the way, I am loving the wet curls, such a cutie pie.

Look at you DIY queen, love the family photos set. You are doing such a good job turning your house into a home. Can't wait to see the finished projects you undertake.

    1. Awww...thank you! Her hair seems to be going through a growth spurt cause it is growing really quickly and I don't know what to do with it. Stretched out, it'll fit into a pony tail but I feel like it'll be cruel to do that to her since babies don't necessarily need to have their hair "made up" at this age. Oh the joys!!! :-).

  4. She is so cute! The frame wall turned out really well but I understand about the small frames - it's all about the little tweaks until things are just the way you want them :)
